NYSC 2012 Service Year 2011 BATCH “C” WINDING-UP/PASSING OUT PROGRAMMES

NYSC wishes to inform you that Management has approved the following programme of activities for the 2011 Batch 'C' Winding-up/Passing-Out exercise:-

i. Tuesday 2nd October, 2012 – Wednesday 10th October, 2012
(a) Job Creation and Awareness Week, Sensitization of corps members on Job Creation/Opportunities after Service and conditions for issuance of Certificate of National Service. This will be done at the Zonal level using relevant officers.
(b) Lectures/Seminars on Job opportunities by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) at the Zonal level.

ii. Thursday 11th October – Friday 12th October, 2012
(a) Release of Passing-Out corps members by Employers
(b) Registration/Clearing of corps members

iii. Monday 15th October, 2012
(a) Parade Rehearsal
(b) Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors

iv. Tuesday 16th October, 2012
(a) Parade Rehearsal
(b) Signing of final Clearance by Zonal Inspectors
(c) De-briefing/Evaluation of Service year
(d) Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) on 5% of the passing-out corps members.

v. Wednesday 17th October, 2012
(a) Final Parade Rehearsal
(b) State Farewell Party to be presided by the Governor of the State.

vi. Thursday 18th October, 2012
(a) Passing-Out ceremony to be presided over by the Governor of the State.
(b) Distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving corps members
